RFT Hall of Fame

The Riverfront Times, our local free weekly, is starting a St. Louis Music Hall Of Fame. No word on what this will actually mean...probably a list on their website and an occasional mention in the paper. It's a good idea, though.

"We are instituting an RFT Music Hall of Fame. Some form of this has existed in the past, but this will be ongoing -- each year we will select a handful of highly deserving mainstays and breakouts to enshrine. This year's inductees are listed after the rest of the categories..."

The first-year inductees:

Midwest Avengers

The boys are also one of the "100 Greatest Musicians In St. Louis History" in the new issue of St. Louis Magazine.

For my money, you could leave off the 100.

Yeah, I agree with you guys.
They may have missed some others who deserve to be inducted in the first year...Chuck Berry comes to mind...
